First Fruits of Worship: Honoring God First
Scripture:
“Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10, NKJV)
Message:
True worship is not just about songs or words; it is about putting God first in every area of our lives. The principle of firstfruits teaches us to honor God with the best and the first of what He has given us—our time, resources, talents, and devotion.
When we prioritize God above everything else, we acknowledge Him as our source. The act of giving Him the first and best is an expression of faith and gratitude. It invites divine multiplication, supernatural provision, and an overflow of blessings.
Firstfruits worship is not just about material giving but about a lifestyle that seeks God first in everything. Before making decisions, before starting the day, before anything else—give Him the first place. When you do, He will fill your life with abundance, favor, and peace.
Prayer:
Father, I choose to honor You first in every area of my life. Help me to put You above all else and to worship You with my time, talents, and resources. As I give You my first and best, I trust You to bless and multiply everything I have. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
