Hannah’s Song: Worship After the Wait

Scripture:
“My heart rejoices in the Lord; my horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation.”
—1 Samuel 2:1 (NKJV)

Message:
Hannah’s journey was one of waiting, tears, and earnest prayers. She was mocked, misunderstood, and burdened with barrenness—but she never stopped seeking God. And when God finally answered her cry, she didn’t run away with the blessing—she returned with worship.

Hannah’s song wasn’t just about Samuel’s birth; it was a testimony of God’s faithfulness, a declaration that her pain was not wasted. Her worship after the wait teaches us something profound: those who wait on God with the right posture will always have a song to sing when the answer comes.

Sometimes, the delay isn’t denial—it’s preparation for a deeper testimony. And when the miracle comes, don’t forget to lift your voice in praise. Worship is how we honor God for what He has done, but it also seals our victories and opens doors for more.

Whatever you’re waiting for, stay faithful. And when the breakthrough comes, let your worship be louder than your weeping. Like Hannah, sing your song to the God who remembers.

Prayer:
Father, even in seasons of waiting, help me to trust You and keep my heart aligned with Your will. Thank You for being a God who remembers. And when my miracle comes, may my life be a continual song of worship to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
