MY JOY IS FULL
Scripture Reading
“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”
— John 15:11 (KJV)
Message
True joy is one of the greatest gifts God gives to His children. Unlike happiness, which depends on changing circumstances, the joy of the Lord is rooted in His unchanging presence, His unfailing promises, and the assurance of our salvation through Jesus Christ.
Jesus desires that His joy remain in us and that our joy be full. This fullness of joy is found in abiding in Him, obeying His Word, and walking daily in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Even in seasons of difficulty, believers can rejoice because Christ has overcome the world, and nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Throughout the Bible, God’s people experienced joy after seasons of waiting and testing. The disciples rejoiced after witnessing the risen Christ. The Ethiopian eunuch went on his way rejoicing after receiving salvation. Paul and Silas sang praises in prison because their joy was anchored in God rather than in their circumstances.
When your joy is rooted in Christ, fear loses its grip, discouragement gives way to hope, and strength is renewed. The joy of the Lord becomes your confidence in every season and your testimony before the world.
Today, choose to rejoice in the Lord. Thank Him for His faithfulness, celebrate His goodness, and let His joy fill your heart. As you remain in His presence, your life will overflow with praise, peace, and unwavering hope.
