THE HARVEST IS GREATER THAN THE SEED
Scripture Reading
“He which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”

Message
Every harvest begins with a seed.
A seed may look small and insignificant when it is planted, but within it is the potential for something much greater. In the same way, the acts of faith, obedience, generosity, diligence, and service that you practice today can produce results far beyond what you can presently see.
God designed the principle of sowing and reaping into creation. A farmer does not plant a seed expecting to harvest the same seed. He plants with expectation that, in the proper season, the seed will multiply.
Your time can be a seed.
Your knowledge can be a seed.
Your kindness can be a seed.
Your prayers can be a seed.
Your financial generosity can be a seed.
Your hard work can be a seed.
Your obedience can be a seed.
Never despise small beginnings.
The widow of Zarephath had only a little flour and oil, yet her willingness to obey God became part of a remarkable story of provision. David began with a shepherd’s staff before becoming king. The early disciples began with a simple command to follow Jesus, and their obedience helped carry the Gospel to the nations.
However, sowing does not mean giving recklessly or expecting God to function like a financial transaction. Biblical sowing is an expression of faithfulness. We give, work, serve, and obey because we trust God, while leaving the timing and form of the harvest in His hands.
There may be seasons when you sow and see nothing immediately. Do not conclude that nothing is happening. Seeds grow beneath the soil before they appear above it.
Continue sowing good seeds.
One day, you may look back and realize that the small things you faithfully did became the foundation for a harvest much greater than you imagined.
Confession
I will not despise small beginnings.
I faithfully sow seeds of faith, diligence, wisdom, kindness, generosity, and obedience.
I trust God with the process and the timing of the harvest.
My faithful labor will produce good fruit according to God’s purpose.
What I sow today will become a blessing to many tomorrow. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer
Father, thank You for the principles of seed and harvest. Give me grace to sow good seeds consistently, even when I cannot immediately see the results. Teach me to sow with wisdom, faith, generosity, and diligence. Let the work of my hands produce lasting fruit, and let the harvest of my life become a blessing to others and a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Thought for the Day
Never measure the potential of your harvest by the size of your seed. Faithful seeds, placed in God’s hands, can produce fruit far beyond what you can see today.
