GOD IS ESTABLISHING THE WORK OF MY HANDS
Scripture Reading
“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.”
— Psalm 90:17 (KJV)
Message
There is a difference between simply working and having your work established. We can work hard, make plans, and invest our time and energy, but lasting fruit comes when God gives stability and purpose to what we do.
Moses understood this principle when he prayed, “Establish thou the work of our hands.” He recognized that human effort alone is not enough. We need God’s wisdom, direction, grace, and favor to make our labor fruitful and enduring.
God cares about the work of your hands. Whether you are building a business, pursuing a career, raising a family, serving in ministry, learning a skill, or developing a new idea, your work can become an instrument through which God’s purposes are fulfilled.
But establishment requires more than prayer. It requires diligence, excellence, patience, integrity, and consistency. Pray for God’s blessing, but also prepare well. Ask for favor, but continue improving your skills. Trust God for increase, but manage what you already have faithfully.
Sometimes establishment takes time. A seed does not become a tree overnight. Don’t abandon something simply because the results are not immediate. Ask God whether you need patience, adjustment, or a new direction.
May God establish what is truly aligned with His purpose for your life. May He remove what is unproductive, strengthen what is fruitful, and give you wisdom to build something that will endure.
