THE BLESSING IS RESTING ON MY HOUSE

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

Message

God’s blessing is more than material increase. It is His grace, favor, peace, protection, wisdom, and provision working in our lives and households. When God’s blessing rests upon a home, that home becomes a place where His goodness can be experienced and shared.

The Bible gives us examples of households that experienced God’s favor. When the Ark of the Covenant was in the house of Obed-edom, the Lord blessed him and all his household. Joseph’s presence in Potiphar’s house was also connected with God’s favor, and everything under his care prospered.

These accounts remind us that God’s blessing can influence an entire household. It can bring wisdom into decision-making, peace into relationships, provision for needs, and grace to overcome difficult seasons.

But blessing also carries responsibility. We are called to steward what God gives us with integrity. A blessed home should be a generous home, a peaceful home, a prayerful home, and a home where God’s principles are honored.

Don’t measure God’s blessing only by what you can count. Sometimes the greatest blessing in your house is peace after a difficult season, unity in the family, wisdom for a major decision, protection from danger, or the strength to keep moving forward.

Thank God for every evidence of His grace, both visible and invisible. Continue to build your household on God’s Word, practice wisdom, work diligently, and trust Him with the future.

May your home not only receive God’s blessing but become a channel through which others are blessed.

Confession

The blessing of the Lord rests upon my household.
My home is covered with God’s grace, peace, wisdom, and provision.
I receive the wisdom to steward every blessing faithfully.
My household will grow in love, unity, purpose, and fruitfulness.
What God places in our hands will become a blessing to others and bring glory to His Name. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your grace upon my household. Let Your peace, wisdom, protection, and provision rest upon my home. Give us understanding to make wise decisions and grace to walk in love and integrity. Let our household become a testimony of Your goodness and a source of blessing to others. May everything we have and everything we do honor You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
