MY TESTIMONY IS NEXT

Scripture

“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”
— Psalm 126:3 (KJV)

There are seasons when you hear other people’s testimonies and quietly ask yourself, “When will it be my turn?”

You celebrate what God is doing for others, but somewhere in your heart, you are still waiting for your own testimony.

Today, remember this: God’s goodness toward another person does not mean He has forgotten you.

The same God who answers prayers is still working in your life.

Psalm 126 describes a people whose captivity was turned around so dramatically that they could hardly believe what had happened:

“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”

Their tears did not have the final word.

The season changed.

The Bible says:

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
— Psalm 126:5 (KJV)

Perhaps you have been sowing through prayer, obedience, perseverance, sacrifice, service, and faithfulness.

Do not despise that season.

What you have sown in tears can produce a harvest of joy.

Your testimony may not look exactly like someone else’s. God has a unique path for your life. Your responsibility is not to compare your journey with another person’s journey, but to remain faithful to the One who is leading you.

Joseph had his testimony.
Hannah had her testimony.
David had his testimony.
Peter had his testimony.

And God is still writing stories today.

Your current chapter is not the whole book.

The fact that you are still standing means the story is not over.

So lift your eyes again.

Pray again.
Believe again.
Prepare again.
Try again.

Your testimony is next—not because you are entitled to a particular outcome, but because you can trust God to faithfully accomplish His purpose in your life.

When your testimony comes, remember the One who made it possible.

CONFESSION

I declare that my story is not finished.

I refuse to allow disappointment to destroy my expectation. I trust God’s timing and remain confident in His faithfulness.

The seeds I have sown in faith will not be wasted. God is working in my life, even when I cannot see the full picture.

I receive grace to keep moving, keep believing, keep praying, and keep obeying.

My tears will give way to joy. My waiting will produce testimony, and my life will become a testimony of God’s faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

PRAYER

Father, thank You because my story is in Your hands.

When I am tempted to compare my journey with others, help me to remain focused on You. Strengthen my faith during seasons of waiting and give me courage to continue doing what is right.

Let the seeds I have sown in faith produce fruit according to Your will. Turn seasons of tears into seasons of joy and let my life reveal Your goodness.

When my testimony comes, keep my heart humble and grateful. Let my testimony point people to You.
