ENTERING MY SEASON OF ABUNDANCE
SCRIPTURE: PSALM 65:11 (KJV)
“Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.”
God is a God of abundance.
He is not limited by scarcity, lack, difficult circumstances, or the limitations of human systems. When God determines to bless, He is able to create possibilities where there seemed to be none.
There are seasons of preparation, seasons of planting, seasons of waiting, and seasons of harvest.
And there are moments when God brings you into a new season where the things you have been praying, preparing, and believing for begin to produce visible fruit.
You are entering your season of abundance.
But biblical abundance is more than having more money or possessions. It is having enough to fulfill God’s purpose, strength for the journey, wisdom for your decisions, peace in your heart, fruitfulness in your work, and resources to become a blessing to others.
Jesus said in John 10:10:
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
The abundant life begins with Christ.
When Christ is at the center, abundance is not merely about accumulation; it is about purpose.
God can increase what is in your hands and also increase your capacity to steward it.
He can give you opportunities, but He also gives you wisdom to manage them.
He can increase your income, but He also teaches you discipline.
He can open doors, but He also prepares your character to walk through them.
Deuteronomy 8:18 says:
“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.”
Notice that God gives the power to get wealth.
This means that abundance can involve ideas, skills, relationships, opportunities, diligence, wisdom, and favor. Sometimes the miracle is not money falling from heaven; sometimes the miracle is God giving you the wisdom to recognize what is already in your hands.
Look at the widow in 2 Kings 4. She had very little, but God used what she had to create a supply.
Moses had a rod.
David had a sling.
The disciples had a few loaves and fishes.
What looks insignificant in your hands can become significant when surrendered to God.
Therefore, don’t despise your beginning.
Don’t despise your small business.
Don’t despise your skill.
Don’t despise your little savings.
Don’t despise the opportunity that seems ordinary.
God can breathe upon what you have and make it fruitful.
Psalm 23:5 declares:
“Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
An overflowing cup is not merely for personal enjoyment. Overflow creates capacity to bless others.
As God increases you, ask Him for the wisdom to remain generous, responsible, humble, and purposeful.
Let your abundance become an answer to somebody else’s prayer.
Let your testimony encourage someone who is still waiting.
Let your resources advance God’s purposes.
Let your success create opportunities for others.
Your season of abundance should not only change what you have; it should change what you can do.
So enter this new season with faith.
Enter with diligence.
Enter with wisdom.
Enter with gratitude.
Enter with expectation.
And above all, enter with God.
Because the greatest abundance is not what is placed in your hands; it is knowing that the One who holds your future is with you.
Your season is changing.
Your capacity is increasing.
Your opportunities are expanding.
Your hands are becoming fruitful.
And as God crowns your efforts with His goodness, may you have the wisdom to steward every blessing well.
CONFESSION
I am entering a season of greater fruitfulness and divine provision. God is giving me wisdom, opportunities, strength, and grace to fulfill His purpose for my life. The work of my hands is becoming fruitful. I will not despise small beginnings. I will steward every opportunity faithfully and use every increase responsibly. My abundance will not separate me from God; it will position me to become a blessing to others. My cup runs over with God’s goodness. Amen.

PRAYER
Father, thank You because You are my source and my provider.
As I enter this new season, give me wisdom to recognize opportunities, discipline to manage resources, courage to take the right steps, and grace to remain faithful to You.
Bless the work of my hands. Cause my efforts to produce good fruit. Give me ideas that create value, connections that open legitimate doors, and favor that brings me into opportunities according to Your will.
Deliver me from waste, poor decisions, fear, and anything that would cause me to mishandle what You place in my hands.
Let my increase have purpose. Let my abundance become a blessing to my family, my community, Your kingdom, and everyone You have entrusted to me.
Crown my efforts with Your goodness, and let everything You give me bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
