THE EARTH IS FULL OF HIS RICHES

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 104:24 (KJV)

“O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.”

Message:

The earth is not empty of God’s provisions. His wisdom is displayed throughout creation—in the soil that produces food, the resources beneath the ground, the abilities of human beings, and the opportunities that emerge through knowledge and creativity. The Psalmist recognised the abundance of God’s works and marvelled at the wisdom with which He made them.

This understanding changes how we approach life. When you see God as the Creator of the earth and its resources, you begin to recognise that possibilities exist beyond what is immediately visible to you. Your present circumstances may be limited, but God’s wisdom can help you discover opportunities, develop solutions, and use available resources productively.

In Genesis 1:28, God blessed humanity and entrusted mankind with responsibility over the earth. This reveals that we are not called merely to consume resources but to manage them responsibly. God expects us to exercise wisdom, cultivate what has been entrusted to us, and create value that benefits others.

Therefore, do not allow a scarcity mentality to blind you to the possibilities around you. There may be a skill you need to develop, a problem you can solve, a service you can offer, or a resource you can manage more effectively. Pray for wisdom, study diligently, work honestly, and remain attentive to opportunities.

However, the abundance of the earth does not mean that every person automatically experiences material prosperity. Resources must be accessed, developed, and distributed, and many people face genuine economic barriers. This is why we must combine faith with wisdom, diligence, compassion, and responsible stewardship.

God’s riches are not limited to material possessions. His wisdom, grace, peace, righteousness, and eternal life in Christ are treasures of immeasurable value. As you grow in your understanding of Him, let your life reflect both gratitude for His provision and generosity towards others.

CONFESSION

The earth belongs to the Lord, and His wisdom is available to guide me. My mind is open to knowledge, understanding, and creative ideas. I recognise opportunities, develop my abilities, and manage resources responsibly. I refuse to be controlled by fear, and I choose diligence, integrity, and generosity. Through God’s wisdom, I will fulfil my responsibilities and become a blessing to others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
