The Lord Has Made Me Laugh
Scripture Focus:
“And Sarah said, ‘God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.’” — Genesis 21:6 (NKJV)

Sarah waited a long time for the promise of God to be fulfilled. Years of barrenness, whispers of doubt, and the ache of unfulfilled dreams weighed heavily on her. Yet when Isaac—her promised child—finally arrived, her sorrow was turned into laughter. Not just any laughter, but the joyful sound of a woman who had seen the impossible become reality.

This is the kind of laughter that only God can bring—the laughter that bursts forth when hope is fulfilled, when mourning turns to dancing, when prayers long prayed are suddenly answered.

You may be in a season of waiting, or even weeping, but remember this: the same God who visited Sarah and turned her pain into joy is still at work. There is a laughter coming for you—holy laughter, healing laughter, the kind that leaves a testimony behind.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being the God who brings laughter even after long seasons of tears. I choose to trust Your timing. Turn my waiting into worship, and my sorrow into joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.Would you like this devotional turned into a social media post, ebook chapter, or video script?
