Title: Job’s Praise: Worshiping Even in Pain
Scripture:
“At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: ‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.’” — Job 1:20-21 (NIV)

Message:
True worship is tested not in moments of gain, but in seasons of loss. Job’s story is a powerful reminder that even in the depths of pain, we can choose to worship. His life was shattered in a single day—yet his response was not bitterness, but brokenness before God in reverence.

Worshiping in pain doesn’t mean ignoring grief. It means acknowledging God’s sovereignty despite the sorrow. Job’s praise was not based on what he had, but on who God is. He understood that God remains worthy of worship, whether in abundance or affliction.

Your tears are not a sign of weakness—they are seeds of surrender. In your lowest valley, your highest praise can rise. Like Job, may we learn to say, “Blessed be the name of the Lord,” even when we don’t understand the why.

Prayer:
Lord, give me the grace to worship You not only in joy but also in sorrow. Help me to trust Your heart even when I can’t trace Your hand. Strengthen me to offer You a sacrifice of praise in every season. In Jesus’ name, amen.
