THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF GRACE
Scripture Reading
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.”
— Titus 2:11 (KJV)
Message
The greatest announcement ever made was the announcement of God’s grace through Jesus Christ. Grace is God’s unmerited favor toward us. It is His undeserved love, mercy, and kindness that reached out to humanity through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son.
Before we could ever earn God’s acceptance, He freely offered us salvation. Through grace, our sins are forgiven, we are adopted into God’s family, and we receive the hope of eternal life. This is the heart of the Gospel—the good news that we are saved not by our own works, but by God’s mercy through faith in Christ.
Grace does more than save us; it transforms us. It teaches us to live godly lives, strengthens us in times of weakness, and empowers us to serve God faithfully. Whatever challenges we face, God’s grace is sufficient to sustain us. His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
As recipients of such amazing grace, we are called to extend grace to others. We forgive because we have been forgiven. We show kindness because God has been kind to us. We love because He first loved us. A life shaped by grace becomes a testimony of God’s goodness to the world.
Today, rejoice in the grace of God. Rest in His love, walk in His strength, and let His grace be evident in your words, attitudes, and actions. May your life continually proclaim the wonderful grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
