MY JOY IS FULL
Scripture Reading
“Until now have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”
— John 16:24 (KJV)
Message
God’s desire is not for His children to live in sorrow, fear, or despair, but to experience the fullness of joy that comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ. This joy is not dependent on favorable circumstances; it is rooted in the assurance that God is with us, His promises are true, and His love never fails.
Jesus taught His disciples that they could confidently pray in His Name, trusting the Father to hear and answer according to His perfect will. As we walk in fellowship with Him, our hearts become filled with a joy that the world cannot give or take away. Even in seasons of trials, we can rejoice because our hope is anchored in Christ.
The fullness of joy is found in God’s presence. The more we spend time in prayer, worship, and meditation on His Word, the more our hearts are strengthened by His peace. His joy becomes our strength, enabling us to overcome discouragement, face challenges with courage, and continue serving Him faithfully.
A joyful heart also becomes a powerful testimony. When others see us trusting God in every season, they are encouraged to place their confidence in Him. Our joy reflects the goodness of God and points people to the hope found in Jesus.
Today, choose to rejoice in the Lord. Thank Him for His salvation, His daily mercies, and His unfailing faithfulness. Let your heart overflow with praise, knowing that your greatest joy is found in His presence.
