GOD IS ENLARGING MY CAPACITY

Scripture Reading

“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.”

Message

Before God enlarges what is in your hands, He often enlarges what is within you. Increase requires capacity. New opportunities require new wisdom. Greater responsibilities require greater maturity. Expanded influence requires a stronger foundation.

Isaiah’s instruction to enlarge the tent was a prophetic picture of making room for what God was about to do. The people were instructed to prepare before they saw the full manifestation. This teaches us an important principle: faith prepares for increase before increase becomes visible.

God may be enlarging your capacity through learning, discipline, prayer, experience, and challenges. He may be teaching you how to manage your time, finances, relationships, gifts, and responsibilities more effectively.

Do not despise the preparation season. What feels like training today may become the foundation for tomorrow’s assignment.

Capacity is also about character. If God gives you more resources without giving you the wisdom to manage them, increase can become a burden. But when your capacity grows alongside your resources, you can handle God’s blessings with humility and responsibility.

Therefore, don’t only pray, “Lord, give me more.” Also pray, “Lord, make me capable of handling more.”

Ask God to enlarge your wisdom, strengthen your discipline, deepen your faith, sharpen your skills, and increase your ability to serve others. Prepare yourself for the opportunities you are praying for.

Confession

God is enlarging my capacity for greater purpose and responsibility.
My wisdom is increasing, my skills are developing, and my character is becoming stronger.
I am prepared for the opportunities God brings into my life.
I will steward increase with humility, excellence, wisdom, and integrity.
My expanded capacity will become a channel of blessing and bring glory to God. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer

Father, enlarge my capacity for everything You have prepared for me. Give me greater wisdom, discipline, understanding, creativity, and strength. Teach me to manage every opportunity and resource faithfully. Prepare me inwardly for the increase I am asking You for, so that when greater doors open, I will have the maturity to walk through them well. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
