GROWING IN GRACE AND PROSPERITY

Scripture Reading

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 3:18 (KJV)

Message

God’s desire for us is growth—growth in our relationship with Him, in wisdom, character, capacity, and in our ability to steward the blessings He places in our hands.

Grace is the foundation of this growth. We do not become who God has called us to be by human strength alone. His grace teaches us, strengthens us, corrects us, and empowers us to live according to His purpose.

Biblical prosperity is also bigger than money. It includes fruitfulness, peace, wisdom, meaningful work, healthy relationships, and having sufficient resources to fulfill God’s assignment. True prosperity should never pull us away from God; it should increase our capacity to serve Him and bless others.

Joseph’s life demonstrates this principle. God increased his influence and responsibility, but that increase came after years of preparation. His character, wisdom, leadership, and capacity were developed through difficult seasons.

Therefore, don’t only ask God for greater resources. Ask Him for greater capacity to manage them.

If you want more, learn to manage what you already have. If you want greater influence, become faithful with the influence you already possess. If you want bigger opportunities, develop the skills required for them.

Growth is progressive. Give yourself permission to learn, improve, and mature.

As you grow in grace, may your life also become increasingly fruitful—spiritually, personally, professionally, and financially—always keeping Christ at the center.

Confession

I am growing in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
My wisdom, character, skills, and capacity are increasing.
I am becoming a faithful steward of every blessing God gives me.
I prosper according to God’s purpose, and my increase produces good fruit.
My growth will glorify God and become a blessing to others. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Father, help me to grow in Your grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Increase my wisdom, understanding, character, skills, and capacity. Teach me to steward every opportunity and resource faithfully. Let my spiritual growth remain the foundation of every other kind of increase in my life. May my prosperity produce fruit, impact lives, and glorify Your Name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
