MY TESTIMONY IS NEXT
Scripture
“This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.”
— Psalm 118:23 (KJV)
There are moments when you look around and see people sharing testimonies, and something inside you asks, “When will my own testimony come?”
Perhaps you have been praying for a long time.
Perhaps you have carried a burden that few people know about.
Perhaps you have smiled in public while privately asking God for a change.
But remember this: God is not limited by the length of your waiting season.
A testimony is not simply a story about receiving something you wanted. A testimony is evidence of God’s faithfulness in your life.
The children of Israel experienced this when God brought them out of Egypt.
David experienced it when God preserved him through seasons of opposition.
Hannah experienced it when the child she had prayed for was finally born.
The psalmist said:
“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock.”
— Psalm 40:2 (KJV)
Notice the progression:
He brought me out.
He set me up.
He established me.
God can take a person from a place of uncertainty and establish them on solid ground.
But while you are waiting for your testimony, don’t allow someone else’s testimony to become a source of frustration.
Celebrate what God is doing for others.
Their testimony is evidence that God is still working—not evidence that you have been forgotten.
And remember something else:
Your testimony may begin before the final result.
The wisdom God gives you can be a testimony.
The peace you receive in a difficult season can be a testimony.
The strength to keep going can be a testimony.
The opportunity that appears can be a testimony.
The door that closes and protects you can be a testimony.
Learn to recognize God’s goodness along the journey.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep preparing.
Keep serving.
Keep giving thanks.
And when the answer comes, give God the glory.
Your testimony should not only make you celebrate what God did—it should make you remember who God is.
CONFESSION
I declare that my story is still being written by God.
I will not be discouraged by another person’s timing. I will not compare my journey with anyone else’s.
I trust God’s purpose and timing for my life.
I receive grace to recognize His goodness in every season and strength to remain faithful while I wait.
My life will testify of God’s faithfulness. What He has begun in me, He is able to bring to completion. My testimony will bring glory to His name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER
Father, thank You because my life is in Your hands.
Help me to remain faithful when I cannot yet see the full picture. Keep my heart free from comparison, impatience, and discouragement.
Open my eyes to recognize the testimonies You are already creating around me and within me.
Let my waiting produce maturity, wisdom, and deeper trust in You.
And when the answer comes, let me never forget You. May my testimony point people to Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
