THE LORD WILL INCREASE YOU MORE AND MORE
SCRIPTURE
Psalm 115:14 (KJV)
“The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.”
INCREASING BY HIS BLESSING
God’s plan for His children is a life of spiritual growth, fruitfulness, and increasing usefulness in His kingdom. He is not the author of stagnation. Through His Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, He leads us into greater understanding, stronger faith, and greater effectiveness in fulfilling His purpose.
Our opening scripture declares, “The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.” This is a beautiful revelation of God’s desire for increase that extends beyond an individual. His goodness is able to impact generations. His blessing is not merely about what you possess today, but also about the godly legacy, wisdom, and values you establish for those who come after you.
Consider Abraham. God blessed him and made him fruitful, but His purpose went beyond Abraham’s personal prosperity. Through him, all families of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 12:2–3). This shows that divine increase carries responsibility. God blesses us so that His goodness can reach others through us.
As you walk with the Lord, expect growth in your knowledge of His Word, your character, your abilities, and your capacity to serve. Be diligent in your work, faithful in your assignments, and wise in managing the resources entrusted to you. Do not despise small beginnings, because consistent obedience prepares you for greater responsibilities.
Furthermore, refuse to measure your progress by comparing yourself with others. Your growth is not a competition. Remain rooted in Christ, because true fruitfulness comes from abiding in Him (John 15:5).
Let your desire for increase be governed by God’s purpose. Seek to grow in grace, wisdom, influence, generosity, and effectiveness. As the Lord increases you, let your life become an increasing expression of His love and goodness.
CONFESSION
The Lord is the source of my increase. I grow in grace, wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual understanding. My faith is strengthened, my abilities are developed, and my capacity for good works increases. I am fruitful in my assignments and faithful with every resource entrusted to me. God’s goodness finds expression through my life and extends to my household. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
