A CHILD OF THE KING
Scripture Reading
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
— John 1:12 (KJV)
Message
One of the greatest truths you can ever know is that you are a child of the King. Through Jesus Christ, you have been brought into God’s family and given the privilege of being called His son or daughter.
This means your identity is no longer defined by your past, your circumstances, or the opinions of others. Your true identity is found in your relationship with God. You belong to the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
As a child of the King, you have access to His love, protection, wisdom, and provision. You are not an outsider trying to gain God’s attention; you are His beloved child. He knows your name, cares about your needs, and has a wonderful plan for your life.
Children often reflect the nature of their parents. In the same way, God desires His character to be seen in you. His love, kindness, faithfulness, and righteousness should shine through your life.
Do not live with a mentality of fear, rejection, or inferiority. Royalty carries itself with confidence—not because of personal achievement, but because of identity. Your confidence comes from knowing whose you are.
Walk daily in the consciousness that you are a child of the King. Let this truth shape your thoughts, words, and actions.
Confession
