STIRRING THE FIRE WITHIN

Scripture Reading

“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee…”
2 Timothy 1:6 (KJV)

Message

God has placed His life, power, and gifts within every believer. However, spiritual fire must be nurtured and stirred continually. Just as a natural fire grows dim when neglected, spiritual passion can weaken when prayer, fellowship, and meditation on God’s Word are neglected.

Paul admonished Timothy to stir up the gift of God that was within him. This instruction reminds us that while God provides the fire, we have a responsibility to keep it burning. Revival is sustained when believers intentionally cultivate their relationship with God.

The fire within is stirred through consistent prayer, worship, study of the Scriptures, and obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit. As you spend time in God’s presence, your faith grows stronger, your vision becomes clearer, and your love for God deepens.

Do not allow discouragement, distractions, or past disappointments to extinguish your spiritual passion. The same Holy Spirit who ignited the fire can cause it to burn brighter than ever before.

God desires believers who are fervent in spirit, passionate in service, and unwavering in faith. As you yield yourself to Him, He will fan the flames of revival within your heart.

Today, make a decision to keep the fire burning. Pursue God with fresh passion and expect Him to do a new work in your life.
