THE BREATH OF GOD

Scripture Reading

“And when I saw them, behold, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind… and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”
Ezekiel 37:8–9 (KJV)

Message

The breath of God brings life where there is death, strength where there is weakness, and hope where there is despair. In Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones, the bones were assembled and covered with flesh, yet they remained lifeless until the breath of God entered them.

Many people have the appearance of progress but lack spiritual vitality. They possess gifts, talents, opportunities, and resources, yet something is missing. What they need is the breath of God—the life-giving power of His Spirit.

Revival is not merely about activity; it is about God’s life flowing afresh into His people. When the breath of God comes upon you, dead dreams can live again, lost passion can return, and spiritual strength can be restored.

Perhaps there are areas of your life that feel dry, stagnant, or exhausted. The same God who breathed life into Adam and raised a vast army from dry bones is able to breathe upon your situation today.

Do not focus on what seems dead or impossible. Focus on the God who gives life. His Spirit can renew your strength, restore your joy, and awaken fresh purpose within you.

Today, open your heart to the Holy Spirit. Let the breath of God fill every area of your life and bring revival from within.
