THE HEART GOD CAN USE
Scripture Reading
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”
— Psalm 51:17 (KJV)
Message
God is not primarily looking for the most talented, educated, or influential people. He is looking for hearts that are yielded, humble, and available for His use. Throughout Scripture, God consistently chose ordinary people who possessed a willing heart and transformed them into instruments of extraordinary impact.
A heart God can use is a heart that is surrendered to His will. It is a heart that says, “Lord, not my will, but Yours be done.” Such a heart is teachable, obedient, and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Revival begins in the heart. Before God changes a nation, a city, a church, or a family, He first works within individuals. When your heart is fully yielded to Him, His power can flow through your life unhindered.
Pride, self-reliance, bitterness, and disobedience can hinder God’s work in a person’s life. But humility, repentance, faith, and obedience create an atmosphere where God can move powerfully.
David was called a man after God’s own heart not because he was flawless, but because he continually turned to God with sincerity and repentance. His heart remained open to God’s correction and direction.
Today, ask God to search your heart. Allow Him to remove anything that does not please Him and shape you into a vessel fit for His purpose. God can do remarkable things through a heart that is fully His.
