The Love That Gives
Scripture:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16, NKJV)
Message:
True love is not just spoken; it is demonstrated through giving. The greatest example of love is found in God Himself—He loved the world so much that He gave His only Son for our salvation. This act of love was sacrificial, selfless, and unconditional. Love, in its purest form, always seeks to give.
The love that gives is not limited to material things; it extends to our time, kindness, encouragement, and service to others. When we love as God loves, we become instruments of His grace, bringing hope and joy to those around us.
Jesus taught us that it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). When we give in love, we reflect His nature and store up treasures in heaven. Whether it is helping the needy, sharing words of encouragement, or forgiving someone, every act of love counts.
Let us choose to love by giving—giving without expecting anything in return, giving because God has first given to us. As we do, we will experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from living in the abundance of His love.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your great love that gives without measure. Teach me to love as You do—to give selflessly, to bless others, and to reflect Your heart in all that I do. May my life be a channel of Your love to the world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
