Called for a Higher Purpose
Scripture:
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9, NIV)
Message:
As a child of God, you are not here by accident—you have been called for a higher purpose. God has set you apart to be a light in the world, to walk in His righteousness, and to fulfill the unique assignment He has given you. Your calling is not just about what you do but about who you are in Christ.
When God calls, He equips. Moses felt inadequate, Jeremiah thought he was too young, and Gideon doubted his strength—but God assured them that He would be with them. Likewise, no matter how unqualified you feel, God’s power in you is greater than any limitation.
Answering your higher calling requires surrender, obedience, and faith. It may not always be easy, but it will always be worth it. As you walk in alignment with His purpose, you will impact lives, bring glory to His name, and experience the fulfillment that comes from living for Him.
Are you ready to step into your divine calling? Trust God, walk boldly, and fulfill the higher purpose for which you were created!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me for a higher purpose. Help me to trust in Your plan, walk in obedience, and fulfill the assignment You have placed on my life. I surrender my doubts and fears to You, knowing that You will equip me for every good work. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
