Title: God Has Made Me Laugh
Scripture:
“And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.” — Genesis 21:6 (KJV)
There is a kind of laughter that springs not from comedy or circumstance but from divine fulfillment. It is the laughter of a miracle realized, a long-awaited promise finally made manifest. Such was the laughter of Sarah, who bore a child in her old age after decades of barrenness. This was not just joy—it was a divine eruption of testimony that only God could orchestrate.
When God steps into your situation, He leaves behind the kind of results that provoke holy laughter. Sarah didn’t just laugh; she declared that all who heard her story would laugh with her. That’s what happens when God moves—you become a reference point for others’ joy and celebration.
There may be situations in your life that seem long overdue. You may have waited, cried, prayed, and held on to faith. But hear this: when the set time comes, God will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into songs of joy. He is the God who transforms years of weeping into moments of laughter.
Let this Word fill you with hope today. You serve the God who makes people laugh—not out of mockery, but out of marvel. He delights in surprising His children with the unexpected. He turns ashes into beauty and impossibilities into testimonies. Prepare for your season of laughter. You will not just laugh—you will become the reason others laugh with joy!
Confession:
I rejoice in the God of my salvation, who turns sorrow into joy and delay into divine celebration. The same God who made Sarah laugh is working in my life. My miracle is set in motion, and my testimony will make many rejoice with me. Hallelujah!
